Ever wondered what GPA actually means? GPA stands for Grade Point Average. It’s basically a score that combines all your grades into one number. On a typical 4.0 scale, an A is worth 4 points, a B is worth 3, a C is worth 2, and so on. Colleges and scholarship programs often look at your GPA to understand your overall academic performance. In short: GPA is your academic performance. Or, if you’re like me, it’s the number that determines whether I told my parents my grades or change the subject.
