Follow up on my previous post. In between working on things with the girls, I stopped to just sit there together. This is for a few reasons. I spend a lot of time teaching my horses how to relax and settle, even after doing something high energy or difficult, so that they learn how to regulate back down on cue, which is a really helpful skill for them to learn. I also wanted to give them a chance to just stand and process, and then see how quickly they could transition back to working together,
