Winter didn’t ask permission. It just showed up overnight—flakes turning from rain to the real thing. The ground’s cold enough now, the air’s thick, and the season just changed right in front of us. This was shot right outside my back door on Powell Lake in Wetmore, Michigan. A Winter Weather Advisory’s in effect through Monday, calling for 3–6 inches, maybe 10 where the lake-effect bands dig in.
