If you missed the story I posted of my daughter barefooting for the first time. Here it is. 1st and 2nd time ever trying. The bar sticking out the side of the boat is called a barefoot boom. It’s used for helping teach people how to waterski. It’s very helpful and you can talk to the person and help coach them on what to do with their body. I was about her age when I first barefooted.
