On Sunday, Pope Francis beatified four missionaries who were martyred in the Congo in the 1960s. "Their martyrdom was the culmination of a life dedicated to the Lord and to their brothers" Fr. Luigi Carrara, Fr. Giovanni Didoné, Fr. Vittorio Faccin, and Fr. Albert Joubert were beatified this past Sunday. They were all martyred in the Congo on November 28, 1964.
