Earth is still feeling the effects of a high-speed solar wind stream (CH HSS) today! 💨 Winds peaked at 750–800 km/s (that's over 1 million mph), triggering a G1 geomagnetic storm and auroras in high latitudes. 📉 Wind speeds are now around 692 km/s but still strong enough to keep stormy conditions going through May 19. Expect calmer conditions by May 20. ☀️ No major solar flares or Earth-directed CMEs were spotted. But one region, AR4087, has a powerful magnetic setup — is it building up for so
