📣You can’t get rid of a behavior without replacing it with something else! Here are two critical components to ensure success when teaching a replacement behavior: 1️⃣ The replacement behavior must serve the same function that the problem behavior serves. For example: 💥 A learner is crying because they want their doll; instead of crying, teach them to say “doll.” 💥 During independent reading, a learner is tapping a pencil on their desk because they want the teacher’s attention. Instead of tap
